THE PEAK BELMEKEN

The Belmeken peak is located in Rila mountain, near the dam with the same name.

Its height is 2626 meters. In the past it was known as White Peak and as Kolarov.

In the summer the peak can be raised with relative ease from the south side. In the winter in this area there is danger of avalanches and tourists should follow the marks of the pillars. The summit can be reached  also from the Yúndola village.
