SOLDIERS MONUMENT IN THE PEAK VELIITSA

The Soldier’s Monument at the Rhodope peak Veliitsa is erected in memory of the Bulgarian soldiers – Christians, Jews and Muslims – of the Chépino infantry regiment N 27, and of the N 39 infantry regiment from Plovdiv, fallen on the first day of the Balkans War, 5 October 1912.
