Description
The peak GOLYAMA SYUTKA is the second highest and the first most beautiful peak in the Rhodopes. On the crest are vestiges of a cobbled-Roman road, which was connecting the capital of the tribe Bessi – Besapara – with the Roman cities of Nicopolis ad Nestrum. From the peak you can see the panorama to the valley, to Thrace, Rila and Pirin. Its height is 2186 meters. At the top is Momin kládenets, which does not cease to amaze the hydrogeologists with its flow and constant temperature of 4 degrees.
