MEMORIAL IN THE TOWN OF BATAK

The memorial is located on a hill north of the city of Batak. From there you will discover panoramic views of the area and the city. It was erected in memory of the partisan squads that fought in the region. From the town to the monument can be reached by a steep alley of 450 meters. Just below the memorial is the commemorative chapel “Sveti Vasilii Veliki”  (“St. Vasilii the Great”). Next to it in 2007 a big Christian cross was erected, visible from the town.
