MARKOVI SKALI (MARKOVI’S ROCKS)

The area “Markovi skali” (Marko’s Rocks) is located two kilometers east of the district of Velingrad “Chepino”. It is a complex of several rocks with the height of ten meters, oriented towards the west. From the rocks reveals a beautiful view towards Velingrad, the Ostrets peak, Alabak and the peaks of the eastern part of Rila mountain. “Markovi skali” can be reached in about an hour by the touristic route marked in green, which starts not far from the hotel “Velina”
