FOUNTAIN – MONUMENT TO THE OTTOMAN YOKE LIBERTADORES

This monument – fountain is dedicated to the Russian liberators of Chépino region from the Ottoman yoke that lasted almost 5 centuries. Dedication: “In this area has been received the II  Division of the 9th  Húsares Regiment of General Gurko’s Liberation Army,  the 21 I. 1878”. In a block of marble is carved the figure of a soldier receiving a bouquet of flowers from a Bulgarian child. Around the monument, placed at a crossroads, there is a small park.
