DAM LAKE BATAK

Batak is the third largest dam in Bulgaria, located in the western Rhodopes. The dam is at 4 km from Batak, 7 km from Rakitovo and 12 km from Velingrad.

It is a favorite place for holidays in the mountains, in the middle of peace and comfort, with the possibility of fishing all year round. On the western coast of the dam is the Tsigov Chark mountain resort. On the other side is the holiday resort Dánoto, which is more quiet  than Tsigov Chark.
