AREA RÓZOVSKI VRIZ

At 12 km from Bratsigovo and at 7 km from the village Rozovo (of roses), uphill slope north of the Rhodopes mountain, is the place Rozovski vriz (source). It is called that because there arise and meet many springs, which are led to a small dam above the village, called Gyuvecha. This is a place for rest, favorite to many tourists in winter as in summer, due to the clear air and water, and the virgin nature. The name of the village comes from the roses, which the residents planted during World War II.
